This study aims to describe the implementation of Village Fund (Dana Desa) in road infrastructure development in Ciheras Village, Cipatujah District, Tasikmalaya Regency, particularly in Cisanggar Hamlet. Road infrastructure is a fundamental need for rural communities, directly affecting accessibility to health services, education, and economic activities. This study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the Village Secretary of Ciheras, field observations, and documentation of the 2025 Village Budget (APBDes). The results indicate that the Village Fund allocation for Ciheras Village increased from IDR 2,100,476,000 to IDR 2,140,476,000 in 2025, with a total of IDR 416,551,200 allocated for road cementation at three locations. However, road repairs in Cisanggar Hamlet have not yet been realized and are scheduled for September 2026. Three main inhibiting factors were identified: internet network constraints in the online submission process, challenging geographical terrain that is difficult to access, and road lengths that exceed the available budget capacity. The impact of the unrealized road repair is felt by the community in three aspects: limited access to health services, hampered access to education, and high transportation costs that reduce household income. This study concludes that the implementation of Village Fund in Ciheras Village has been carried out in accordance with regulations, but still requires improvements in digital infrastructure capacity, cross-sector coordination, and strengthened budget allocation to ensure road construction can be implemented optimally and have a real impact on community welfare.
